Inspired Action. It can be defined as an act “imbued with the spirit to do something, by or as if by supernatural or Divine influence.” Sounds cool, huh? Well it really is, and that was the theme that presented itself to me this past month.

The importance of your thoughts and aligning your vibration with the Universe through your thoughts are generally the concepts that are highlighted when talking about the Law of Attraction. The initial thought, and the sustaining of that initial thought is crucial to the process of co-creating your reality.

But what many overlook is the importance of taking inspired action in furtherance of, and in support of those high vibration thoughts. The book you want to write, or the song you want to sing, or the soulmate you want to meet will not just magically happen. (Well, okay, the soulmate might magically appear, but he or she won’t unless you take the step of actually getting out into the world with your high vibration self being open to receiving them!). Once you create an intention to reach a goal, whatever it may be, inspired action toward that goal sets the stage for success.

In focusing on the actions I took on my intentions this month, I learned that with every inspired action you take towards your dreams, no matter how small, more inspiration will flow to you and through you to propel you forward. Inspired action increases your vibration, which in turn increases your excitement, which in turn increases your inspiration. When you act from this place of inspiration, you will attract more of the inspiration needed to take that next step, and the next step, and so on, until the snowball has so much momentum nothing is going to stop it until the goal is realized.

So how do you know if the action you are taking is inspired? Think about why your goal is important to you and how you will feel when it is realized. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the minutiae of what we think we need to do to realize our goal, that we often forget the reason it is our goal in the first place. If you focus on feeling into the “why” then the action you take will be “imbued with the spirit..as if by supernatural or Divine influence,” and you will notice more people, opportunities and resources coming into your life to help you reach your goal.

There are a multitude of ways to stay connected to your “why,” and once you find yours, stick with it and you will find that the steps you take will feel natural, uplifting and, well, inspired! Personally, I get connected to the “why” of my goals through meditation and journaling first thing in the morning. Whatever you do, keeping your heart open to the love and light of the Divine that keeps your dreams illuminated and aligned with creation. If you are feeling particularly stuck or uninspired, get outside and soak in the brilliance of nature and the ease with which it exists, remembering that the power that makes the rose bloom or that makes the breeze whisper through the treetops is the same power that you have available to you to make your dreams a reality.

  1. I am a strong believer in the law of attraction. It can be difficult to change our mindset but with practice it gets easier. At this time I am trying to not live in the state of HOPE but live as if I already have what I want. Giving the universe or any Divine power you believe in daily thanks and gratitude helps raise my vibration to a more positive one . Some days are not easy but I am determined and I will reach my goals !
Thanks for sharing this , I truly enjoyed it 🙂
